Ronald J. Esposito
Executive Director
Aviation Research and Technology Park, Inc (ARTP) named Ronald J. Esposito as the first permanent Executive Director of the organization on Friday, February 12, 2010. The ARTP Board of Trustees selected Ron after reviewing the credentials of over twenty candidates from around the country.
Ron is joining the ARTP after a long and distinguished career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and recently four years in the private sector with Hiasun, Inc. of Mays Landing, New Jersey as Vice President of Operations.
Ron started with the FAA as a Budget Analyst and worked his way up through a series of leadership positions to cap his career as the Senior Corporate Officer and the Acting Director of the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, where he was directly responsible for the strategic leadership and operation of the center. He also served as the senior manager for FAA organizations including, Information Technology, Finance, Facilities Services & Engineering, Acquisition/Materiel and Grants, Human Resources, Graphic Arts, Security, and the National Airspace Laboratories.
During his career with the FAA, Ron earned over twenty-five job related performance awards including Leadership Awards, Technical Center Director Awards, The National Partnership for Reinventing Government Award from Vice President Al Gore, and the Distinguished Career Service Award from the FAA Administrator.
Ron led several successful projects at the FAA Tech Center including designing a new compensation system, creating an air shuttle that saved millions, and bringing the Coast Guard and Air Marshals to the Center. He also served as the FAA representative on the committee to create the Aviation Research and Technology Park.
Ron graduated with honors from Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Labor Relations and a Master in Business Administration from Monmouth University.
